The rockers on a Jeep Flatfender are among the most vulnerable parts of the body to get damaged from off-road use. In some cases the body tub might be a little rusty in this area, or they might have already been “massaged” from past off-road exploits. We now offer weld-together rock slider kits that can add valuable protection for the factory rockers and / or help cover up rust or previous trail rock rash!
The rock sliders are constructed of 1/8-inch laser-cut steel. They also include a new front fender step, so you can simply use our step if your original is rusted and falling apart, or you can use our step to strengthen and reinforce what you already have. These rock sliders are Rubicon-tested and add serious reinforcement to the rockers, while helping stiffen and reinforce the body as a whole.
Our rock sliders are available in three different variations: a do-it-yourself weld-together kit with or without a 28″ stretch kit, or as complete welded together assemblies. The welded variation IS NOT available with the stretch kit. With the un-welded kits, we do all the forming and breaks in the parts; you just need to drill holes in the body tub, bolt them on and weld them together. With the finished and fully welded versions, you simply line them up with our body tub and drill the appropriate mounting holes. All mounting hardware is included with both welded and un-welded rocker assemblies, In all cases the rock sliders ship raw and uncoated; you will need to paint or powder coat your rock sliders once received.
Please Note: Trimming may be necessary with MB and GPW tool indents. We do these rock sliders in batches based on order volume, so stock levels may vary. We will contact you if there is a shipping delay of more than a few days from receiving your order.
